Synopsis

"Light Catcher" is an initiative by bilibili to support Chinese original animation. For professional animation teams, independent animation teams, and animation enthusiasts, the Capsules project, Cosmoses project, and Ores project are launched to discover outstanding works and teams. By providing a platform to showcase works and supporting opportunities, bilibili seeks to encourage more talented people to participate in animation production. The short film uses a protagonist running forward as the main theme. The constantly escalating painting style and the setbacks and help the protagonist encounters while running symbolizes the growth of a novice animators through continuous self-learning and relying on the people around them for support, until their final work is seen by the world.
